Biography: MY BIOGRAPHY


UGWAKA KINGSLEY ANENE


I was born on 18th January 1977 in Onitsha in the family of Late Sir Michael Chukwudi and Lady Theresa Ugwaka. Native of Neni In Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State. I started my primary education in 1982 at Onyeabor Primary School and later moved to Ezechima Primary School both in Onitsha. My junior secondary was at Christ the King College Onitsha while my senior secondary was at St. Charles Special School Onitsha. I gained admission into University of Benin to study Fisheries and Aquaculture in 1996. I did my Master in the same field at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka and also recently finished my Doctor of Philosophy in the same institution.


I am married to Mrs. Stella Ugwaka and we have four children, three boys and a girl. I have worked with the private sector before getting into Chekwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University as an Assistant Lecturer in 2019. Currently I am a Lecturer I staff and also the Head of Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture. I’m also a member of Fisheries Society of Nigeria FISON.
