| Biography: |
Jonathan Chinenye Ifemeje, is a Professor of Biochemistry, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Anambra State, Nigeria. He holds B.Sc, M.Sc and Ph.D. in applied Biochemistry and MBA in Business Management. He’s a lecturer and a researcher and currently the Director Research Management Office Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University and Postgraduate coordinator department of Biochemistry. His research interest covers phytonutrients / natural products, formulation and optimization of weaning foods, antioxidants/oxidative stress markers, micronutrient interactions and metal toxicity, environmental monitoring and pollution control, micro plastics, Nano toxicology, occupational and health risk assessment. He reviews for some local and international journals. He has supervised several Bachelor, Master’s and Ph.D. students. He has served as external examiner for postgraduate and undergraduate students to some Universities. He was the former director student industrial work experience scheme, former director academic standard and quality assurance and former head of department Biochemistry. He is a member, Institute of Chartered Chemists of Nigeria, Nigerian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Society of Quality Assurance. |
