Biography: | Dr. Uba, Bright Obidinma hails from Oba in Idemili - South Local Government, Ananmbra State. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Microbiology (First Class Honours) from Anambra State University Uli Campus; a Masters and a Ph.D in Environmental Microbiology Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. He is a Senior Lecturer and PG Coordinator in the Department of Microbiology, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Uli Campus Anambra State, Nigeria. He has taught several courses in Microbiology, graduate more than 200 undergraduate and postgraduate students; has over 77 publications in both local and international reputable and peered reviewed journals and has several written books. He is a copy editor of the Continental African Journal of Education, Science and Technology (AJEST) and reviewers to several high impact journals. His research interest has been on environmental and industrial microbiology, ecotoxicity, nanobioremediation, nanobiotechnology and environmental analysis with molecular and data analytics skills. He is a member of American Society of Microbiology, Nigerian Society of Microbiology and Society for Risk Assessment Africa Chapter. He is a public speaker, Coordinator and Adviser to several spiritual and secular organizations. Dr. Bright enjoys traveling, reading, writing, teaching and counselling.
