Biography: Dr Joe Akabuike hails from Nanka in Orumba North Local Government Area, Anambra State. He has his early education in Nkwoagu Nanka Primary School, St. Peter Secondary School Achina both in Aguata LGA Anambra state.<br />
He graduated from University of Nigeria as a Medical Doctor in 1990. He is a Fellow West African College of Surgeon, Faculty of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.<br />
He was a former Commissioner for Health, Anambra State (2014-2019), Chairman, Governing Board, College of Health Technology, Obosi, Anambra State. <br />
He is a Senior Lecturer and Consultant and currently the Chief Medical Director, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital, Awka.
