Biography: Prof. Anthony Onochie is a Professor of Biochemistry and Immunochemistry. He is also a Consultant Medical Laboratory Scientist who wrote the programme for the commencement of the University Medical Laboratory Science programme in COOU Igbariam Campus. he was two time Head of Department of Biochemistry within 2009 - 2013, a Coordinator of Pre-Science degree programme 2013 - 2015 Uli. He also was appointed a Dean of Postgraduate studies in 2016. Between 2016 and 2018 he was the Director of Academic Planning under the regime of Prof. Okafor. Towards the end of 2018 he went to back to his Faculty of Natural Sciences and contested for the post of the Deanship of the Faculty which he won and became the Dean of the faculty from 2018 - 2022. He is currently back to classroom and he teaches BSc., MSc. and PhD Biochemistry students, he also teaches Biochemistry to Nursing students, Medical Lab Students and Pharmacy Students at Undergraduate level. He is happily married with five children.
