Biography: Dr. Odimegwu, Chinwe Ngozi is a Lecturer 1. She is the current HOD of the Department of Estate Management. She is poised to consolidate the wonderful contributions of her predecessors by working assiduously to position the department for excellence in teaching, learning, and research and also to align with the 3V’s (Value, Viability, and Visibility) of our amiable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Omenugha, Kate Azuka.<br />
Dr. Odimegwu, Chinwe N. obtained her degrees in Estate Management from Abia State University, Uturu, and Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka specializing in Land and Property Rating& Taxation, and Mineral valuation. Her research interests include Land Taxation, Housing, Land Policies, and Climate Change. She has fourteen (14) published Journal articles and book chapters, three (3) articles in conference proceedings, and co-authored a book with Dr. Anyakora, Mike Ifeanyi titled Understanding Theoretical and Conceptual Frameworks in Research. She was the exam officer of the Department of Estate Management for four (4) years and a member of various committees both at the departmental and faculty levels. She is a member of the editorial board and reviewer of the Faculty Journal, African Journal of Environmental Research (AJER). She has also reviewed for the Journal of Human Ecology and Sustainability (JHES) of the University of Philippines Los Banos (UPLB). She is an associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) and is also registered with the Estate Surveying and Valuation Board of Nigeria (ESVARBON). She has served as both a member and secretary of the Anambra State branch of NIESV Research and Development Committee and NIESV Valuation Day Committee.
