Biography: | ONYINYECHUKWU HOPE ONUBOGU NEE IKWUMELU IS FIRST, A DAUGHTER, THEN WIFE AŃD MOTHER. SHE IS ALSO A CHRISTIAN. SHE WAS BORN IN ACHI, OJI RIVER LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF ENUGU STATE. SHE OBTAINED HER FIRST SCHOOL LEAVING CERTIFICATE FROM THE ST MONICA’S PRACTISING PRIMARY SCHOOL OGBUNIKE WHILE HER SECONDARY EDUCATION WAS AT FEDERAL GOVERNMENT GIRLS COLLEGE NEW BUSSA, NIGER STATE. HER FIRST DEGREE (in AGRICULTURAL ECONOMICS) WAS OBTAINED FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF NIGERIA, NSUKKA IN 1999, WHILE HER SECOND DEGREE (MSc. Agric. Economics) WAS OBTAINED AT THE UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN IN 2011. SHE SUCCESSFULLY DEFENDED HER PhD DEGREE (IN FOOD MARKETING AND INTERNATIONAL TRADE) IN SEPTEMBER 2019 AT THE FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE, ABEOKUTA. ONYINYECHUKWU HOPE ONUBOGU IS A LOVER OF RESEARCH AND ACADEMIC IMPARTATION. SHE ENJOYS TEACHING AND CARRYING OUT ANALYTICAL RESEARCH. SHE TEACHES THE STUDENTS WITH PASSION AND HAS A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH THEM. SHE IS EQUALLY A MENTOR, ADVISER AND COUNSELLOR TO THE STUDENTS. SHE HAS ATTENDED SERIES OF CONFERENCES IN AND OUT OF NIGERIA, AND PRESENTED PAPERS AT EACH CONFERENCE INCLUDING THE 6TH AFRICAN CONFERENCE OF AGRICULTURAL ECONOMISTS (ACAE) HELD IN ABUJA IN SEPTEMBER 2019. SHE HAS A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH HER COLLEAGUES AND ADAPTS EASIKY TO EVERY ENVIRONMEMT. SHE BELIEVES IN AND STANDS ALWAYS FOR HONESTY, SINCERITY, DEDICATION, RESPECT, AND JUSTICE. |
