Biography: | Basil Agoha Onyekozuru, holds B.Sc, M.Sc and Ph.D degrees in Architecture. Has a wide training, working and professional experience in architecture, architectural education, rural and community planning, urban design, project management, housing finance and education. He is currently an Associate professor in the Department of Architecture, and the Associate Dean Faculty of Environmental Sciences, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Anambra State, Nigeria. Published in local and international academic journals and presented papers extensively in national and international conferences, including UIA Congresses in Durban, South Africa, Seoul, South Korea and Copenhagen, Denmark. <br /><br /> He is a Chattered Architect and Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Architects, NIA, member Association of Architectural Educators in Nigeria, AARCHES, and Architects Registration Council of Nigeria, ARCON, and has taken part in accreditation and external examinations to universities. Has done a lot of projects, held and involved in a lot of community services. Former Chair, Nigerian Institute of Architects, (NIA), Imo State Chapter, member Board of Architectural Education, Nigeria, International Affairs, Heritage and Culture Committees, Nigerian Institute of Architects. Correspondent, UNESCO-UIA Validation Council, Heritage and Culture Work Group of UIA.
