| Biography: | Prof. Mrs Emeka-Nwokeji, N. A. started her tertiary education from Institute of Management Technology (IMT) where she received her National Certificate of Education in Business Education Accounting Option in 1994, Bachelor of Education Degree (Accounting) from University of Nigeria Nsukka in 2001, Postgraduate Diploma (Accountancy) from Imo state University Owerri in 2003. Master of Science Degree in Accountancy from Imo state University Owerri in 2005 and finally obtained her PhD in Accountancy from Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka in 2018. Prof. Emeka-Nwokeji started her career first at bursary department of Anambra State University of Science and Technology (Now Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu Univerity) 1997 � 2008. She was converted lecturer in the Accountancy department of the same institution in 2008 as an Assistant Lecturer and rose to her present rank of Reader in 2019. Her area of interest includes Corporate Social Responsibility, Corporate Environmental Disclosures, Corporate Governance Disclosures and Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosures. Prof. (Mrs) Emeka-Nwokeji is a member of some recognized professional bodies both at home and abroad. Among them are - Member American Accounting Association and Member Nigerian Institute of Management Prof. (Mrs) Emeka-Nwokeji has served in various administrative capacities within the University. She has served as Member Protocol/Accommodation Sub-Committee on Endowment Fund Lunching., Member Committee on Bursary Department Appraisal Exercise, Secretary Committee on Placement of Promoted Staff Anambra State University, Secretary Committee on Review of Financial Regulation, Anambra State University, Member Faculty Implementation Committee for Entrepreneurship Anambra State University, Secretary Departmental Board Accountancy Department, Member Sub Committee of Local Organising Committee For Faculty of Management Sciences 1st International Conference, Chairperson Sub Committee of Local Organising Committee for Faculty of Management Sciences 2nd International Conference, Member Faculty Post Graduate Misconduct Committee and Member Departmental Committee on Review of Curriculum. Dr. (Mrs) Emeka-Nwokeji has also served in many adhoc committees in ChukwuemekaOdumegwu Ojukwu Univerity and has supervised over fifty (50) Barchelor of Science degree projects, ten (10) Master of Science Degree and two (2) Doctoral Degree students in Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University. Prof. (Mrs) Emeka-Nwokeji has attended several conferences, seminars and workshops and has published over twenty (20) research articles and presented over ten (10) scientific papers at international conferences. She has also received several awards within the University and beyond. She is a strong advocate of Restructuring Nigerian University program for the changing environment as a strategy for sustainable development. She is a devout Christian, a loving wife and mother of three. |
